A+ Lawn Care is a family-owned company that serves the DeForest area and prides itself on service. Snow removal is the largest part of our business, and from spring through fall our crews handle lawn care, landscaping, hardscapes and concrete curb edging. These are the positions we hire for.
Sidewalk Snow Removal
The pay is $25-30 per hour. You are on call during the season. Most shifts start overnight or early in the morning, and some fall on weekends and holidays. The job is based in DeForest and the season runs from November through March, with pay day every other Friday. Sidewalk snow removal crew members who finish the season receive an end of season completion bonus.
You will clear sidewalks, walkways, entries and stairs with shovels and snow blowers, spread salt on walks and entries when conditions call for it, and help with cleanup visits after storms.

Snow Removal Operator
The pay is $32 to $40 per hour, depending on the equipment you run and your experience operating in snow. You are on call during the season. Most shifts start overnight or early in the morning, and some fall on weekends and holidays. The job is based in DeForest, and the company provides the trucks and equipment. The season runs from November through March, and operators who finish the season receive an end of season completion bonus. Pay day is every other Friday.
You will plow parking lots, drives and entrances with a plow truck, skid steer, loader or tractor, salt lots when conditions call for it, and return after storms to clear parking stalls and corners and to move snow piles back.
Experience running a plow truck, skid steer, tractor or loader is required.

Lawncare and Landscape Technician
Pay: $24–$28/hr depending on experience and work ethic

Lawn maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanups/pruning)

Landscape rock, mulch and plantings install

Concrete curb edging installation (we train on this)
Experience in lawn care and/or landscaping (required)
If interested in doing snow removal over the winter, the position can turn into year round work.

Hardscape Foreman
Pay: $30–$35/hr depending on experience and production
Proven experience in hardscape installation (paver patios, seat walls, firepits, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, walkways, grading, drainage, etc)
Position can be through fall for the hardscape season or year round with commercial snow removal as a snow operator (truck, wheel loader, tractor, skid etc).
